LAO P.D.R. is landlocked country, neighboured by China to the North, Vietnam to the East, Cambodia to the South and Thailand and the Union of Myanmar to the West.
So 90% all freight by air or sea are in-transit via Thailand and Vietnam. We have more than 15 years experiences in transporting everything from general cargo to heavy equipment. So we can provide door to door services for any shipments from overseas countries by air via Thailand Airport or Vietnam Airport and by sea via Thailand Ports and Vietnam Ports to Laos by truck, trailer, car trailer , flat bed trailer, low bed trailer, etc.
Useful Information
Import procedures for transit cargo, i.e cargo imported to Laos from oversea, but which shipped through Thailand Port. Currently, all Lao import cargo passing through Thai Ports must be delivered to the transit warehouse at Klong Toey, which is then examined by Thai Custom. This process will take upto three working days. Once inspected, the cargo is loaded and sealed into Thai truck and is then released with an "In-transit Entry Document" issued by Thai Customs for delivery to Thanaleang Bonded Warehouse in Vientiane. Custom clearance in Laos is done at the bonded warehouse on the Laos side.
For export cargo, the procedures are more simple, The trucking is usually arranged from Lao company factory to Bangkok Port. In-Transit Custom formalities are made in Nongkhai Custom House and cargo is inspected before transferring from Lao Truck to Thai Truck. The truck is sealed before departure to Thai port under "In-transit Entry Document" issued by Thai Customs.
